AI App Security & Cost Audit.
The ExcenityAI AI App Security & Cost Audit is a free 30-minute review call where we look at your AI-built app together, find security holes and cost risks, and then send you a prioritized fix plan and a quote.
You built it with AI. Now it has to survive real users.
This is for founders and teams whose app was built with an AI tool and who worry about two things: a leak, and a bill they did not expect. It works whether the app has ten users or ten thousand.
- Lovable
- Replit
- Cursor
- Bolt

- Base44
- Claude Code
- Google Antigravity
The eight places AI-built apps most often leak data or money.
Exposed API keys and secrets
Keys for OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe, Supabase service roles and cloud providers sitting in frontend code, public environment variables or the git history.
Authentication and authorization
Whether every page and API route checks who is asking, and whether one user can read or change another user's data by editing a URL or an ID.
Supabase RLS and Firebase rules
Row Level Security enabled on every exposed table with real policies, and Firestore, Realtime Database and Storage rules that are not left open or in test mode.
Open storage buckets
File and image storage that anyone with the link, or no link at all, can list, read or overwrite.
Rate limits and abuse
Whether a bot or a bug can call your AI endpoints, sign-up forms or email sending thousands of times, and what stops it.
Hard spend caps
Hard limits, budgets and alerts on OpenAI, Anthropic and your cloud account, so a mistake becomes a blocked request instead of a surprise invoice.
Hosting right-sizing
Whether you are paying for servers, databases and bandwidth far above what your traffic needs, or sitting on a setup that will fall over under load.
Caching and model routing
Repeated AI calls that could be cached, and expensive models used for simple tasks that a cheaper model handles just as well.

A plan you can act on, not a 40-page report.
Findings
What we found, in plain English, with how serious each issue is and how we confirmed it.
Prioritized fix plan
An ordered list: what to fix today, what to fix this month and what can wait.
Estimate
A quote for the fixes if you want us to do the work. You are free to take the plan to someone else or fix it yourself.
From first call to fix plan.
- 01
Book a free call
Tell us which tool built your app, where it is hosted and what worries you most.
- 02
Review it together
In 30 minutes we look at the app, its settings and your provider dashboards with you, and flag anything urgent on the spot.
- 03
Get the written plan
We send the findings and the prioritized fix plan with an estimate.
- 04
Decide what happens next
We fix it, hand the plan to your own developer, or you do it yourself. No obligation either way.
Working with US and European data.
We serve startups and teams across the US, UK and Europe, so data handling comes up early. This is how we work. It is not a certification.
GDPR
We can sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and keep your data in EU or US regions on request.
HIPAA-aware
For US healthcare clients we design to avoid unnecessary PHI, and work with Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) where your vendors support them. This is our approach, not a certification.
SOC 2 readiness
We help prepare apps for SOC 2 readiness reviews: access control, logging, secrets and data handling. We are not SOC 2 certified, and we do not issue the report.
Questions before you book.
What is the AI App Security & Cost Audit?
It is a review of an app built with AI tools such as Lovable, Cursor or Bolt. We check for security holes (exposed keys, missing login checks, open databases and storage) and cost risks (no spend caps, oversized hosting, wasteful AI calls), then give you a prioritized fix plan and an estimate.
Is the first review really free?
Yes. The first review is a free 30-minute call where we look at your app together. After the call we send findings, a fix plan and a quote. You only pay if you choose to hire us for the fixes.
Do I need to give you access to my code or accounts?
Not for the call. We can work from a screen share while you stay in control. For a deeper review we would ask for read-only access, and we would agree what that covers before anything is shared.
Which AI app builders do you work with?
Apps from Lovable, Replit, Cursor, Bolt, v0, Base44, Claude Code, Google Antigravity and similar tools. What matters is what the app talks to, such as Supabase, Firebase, OpenAI, Anthropic and your hosting, not which tool wrote the code.
Can you stop my AI or cloud bill from running away?
We can set up the controls that limit it: hard spend limits and budgets with the AI and cloud providers, rate limits in your app, and alerts. Provider limits are not instant, so we also reduce the chance of a spike by fixing exposed keys and abusable endpoints.
What happens if you find something serious during the call?
We tell you straight away so you can act, for example by rotating an exposed key. Then the written plan follows with the full list in priority order.
Will you fix the problems as well?
If you want us to, yes. The estimate in your plan covers the fixes. You can also use the plan with your own developer.
Do you guarantee my app will be secure afterwards?
No one can honestly guarantee that. An audit reduces the most common and most costly risks and tells you what remains. It is a review at a point in time, not a certification.
Do you sign a DPA / are you GDPR-ready?
Yes, we can sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and keep your data in EU or US regions on request. We agree up front what data we would see during a review, and we limit access to what the work needs.
Can you work on HIPAA-regulated apps?
Yes, with limits. For US healthcare clients we design to avoid unnecessary PHI and work with Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) where your vendors support them. This describes how we work, not a HIPAA certification, and your own compliance team stays responsible for sign-off.
Can you help us get ready for a SOC 2 review?
Yes. We help prepare apps for SOC 2 readiness reviews by checking access control, logging, secrets handling and data storage, and by giving you a prioritized fix list. We are not SOC 2 certified, and the formal audit is done by an independent auditor.
What currency do you quote in?
US dollars (USD) by default, and euros (EUR) on request. The audit call is free, and the quote that follows states the price before any work starts.
